A wide variety of bird life can be seen on and around the lake, particularly in the early mornings when the glassy surface of the lake faithfully reflects the surrounding landscape. Brolgas, pelicans, cormorants, and whistling ducks are some of the more common species and dozens more will be spotted by the keen observer.
Breamber also has its own dam habited by platypus which can be viewed early in the morning or at sunset.
The property carries a small herd of Brahman cross beef cattle who are very inquisitive and love to have a friendly chat over the fence, and a number of chickens and ducks are kept.
